Dr. Derek Friedman is a urologic surgeon proudly serving patients in Glens Falls and the surrounding Capital Region and Adirondacks. A graduate of Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, Dr. Friedman completed his residency in Urology at Albany Medical Center, where he trained extensively in robotic and minimally invasive techniques.

Dr. Friedman's professional goal is to make urologic care easily accessible by offering timely consultations and advanced surgical options close to home — eliminating the need for patients to travel far for high-quality treatment. Growing up with frequent visits to Lake George and to explore the Adirondack mountains, Dr. Friedman now strives to bring specialized surgical care to the regions residents.

Dr. Friedman provides comprehensive urologic care for both men and women, addressing a wide range of conditions including urinary issues, urologic cancers (such as prostate, kidney, and bladder cancer), kidney stone disease, erectile dysfunction, low testosterone, and select pediatric urology concerns. His services include advanced procedures such as robotic-assisted prostate and kidney surgeries, laser stone surgery, office-based vasectomy, and more.
